This CLE is presented in conjunction with the King County Bar Association (KCBA), the Northwest Justice Project (NJP), Columbia Legal Services (CLS), and the Northwest Consumer Law Center (NWCLC). The presentation provides an overview of charity care, how to apply, defensive litigation and use of charity care rights in debt defense, Obamacare (new statues and regulations), and affirmative litigation to address systemic violations of charity care rights.
